THE HISTORICAL MUSEUM OF FIREFIGHTERS AND THE ITALIAN RED CROSS OF MANFREDONIA AT THE ALTAPULIA NETWORK ASSEMBLY
The AltApulia Network Assembly, convened on November 13 at the "Natural History Museum" in Foggia, elected the 'Steering Committee' that will coordinate the network's future activities, receiving operational and project proposals from museum representatives to be subsequently submitted for approval by the Assembly itself.
The Historical Museum of Firefighters and the Italian Red Cross, unique in its kind worldwide, was present with its President, Dr. Michele Guerra, and Hon. Antonio Tasso, for institutional relations.
The election results will see the Sipontine museum - the only one present from the city of Manfredonia, which boasts other museum realities - in close collaboration with the Steering Committee for the implementation of promotional initiatives for the development of the cultural and historical offering of the territory, in line with what emerged from the recent Forum on 'Sustainable Tourism of Gargano' (held in Manfredonia on October 26), which considers cultural tourism 'central' to the sustainable offering of the places in Capitanata.
The next step for the Assembly will be the election of the members of the 'Steering Committee' (as provided for by article 4 of the Museum Enhancement Agreement) and then full implementation of the ideas already on the table will begin.
