Sunday, July 05, 2026: Pompieropoli, the great festival of little heroes, returns

On Sunday, July 05, 2026, by popular demand and after previous sold-out dates, Manfredonia welcomes back the most anticipated family event: Pompieropoli!

The Historical Museum of Firefighters and the Italian Red Cross once again opens its doors for a special day dedicated to those who missed previous editions and those who want to relive the thrill of being a firefighter for a day.

A welcome from true rescuers

The adventure begins at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome. The little aspiring heroes will immediately dive into the mission with the dressing ceremony.

Your Mission: A complete training

The Pompieropoli course is designed to test the courage and agility of participants through various operational areas:

• Field Training: Activities in 3 play areas with progressively difficult courses;
• Tradition and Play: Tug-of-war, sack race, hula hoop, and basketball in the equipped play area with a firefighter station inflatable;
• Real Action: The trial by fire, putting out a real fire with the use of extinguishers;
• Historical Memory: Souvenir photos on the legendary Willis Jeeps in front of the Twin Towers Attack backdrop and fun shots in the mini-theater.

Additionally, families will be taken on an immersive guided tour led directly by the museum's founder, to discover the secrets of a unique collection in the world.

Moments of Relaxation and Entertainment

During the event, the Firefighter's Cafeteria (with over 100 seats) will be open, where a welcome coffee will be offered to everyone at the start, while admiring the spectacular exhibition of Canadair planes and helicopters, enjoying a moment of relaxation between missions.

Prizes and Recognitions

At the end of the activities, each child will receive a well-deserved prize for their courage:

• The official Little Firefighter Certificate;
• The 3D Model: A rigid 60x40 cm cardboard cutout to take home to build the Fire Department ladder truck with parents.
