The Art of Rescue
The collection opens with a striking display of 80 uniforms and 300 headpieces (brass helmets, boiled hard-leather helmets, steel helmets, resin helmets, hats, caps and side caps), dating from the first half of the 19th century to the late 20th century.

San Floriano di Lorch
In this pavilion you can admire the stunning true-virtual reality, unique in the world of its kind, created with original aerial rescue systems dating from the late 18th century to the early 20th century: rescue nets, tubular sheets, rescue blankets, circular tarps, descent ramps and horse-drawn ladders.
ALARM CENTRE
In the reconstruction of the alarm centre of the "Civici Pompieri di Torino" from the late 19th century, you can admire the accessories used for vehicle maintenance and all the alarm systems used over two thousand years: the bellows trumpet of the ancient Romans, the drum, the bell (which was the most widespread alarm system), the metal telephone, the wooden telephone, the trumpet, the handset, the standard whistle and the bi-tonal whistle.
SPECIAL HISTORIC VEHICLES, FIREFIGHTING AND RESCUE
A vast area dedicated to the many vehicles that have made two centuries of firefighting and rescue history, a true journey through time into the heart of courage. In a maze of perfectly preserved historic vehicles, visitors will enter the fascinating world of rescuers who tirelessly fight to protect the lives of those in need.
Among the over 80 firefighting vehicles and ambulances in the museum, you can admire: the incredible late 18th-century horse-drawn fire pump, one of the very first ambulances in history — the Fiat 18BL, which was instrumental in the Italian victory in the Great War, driven by American writer Ernest Hemingway and used in 1953 at Cinecittà to film "A Farewell to Arms" with Rock Hudson and Alberto Sordi — the Bianchi S5, the first ambulance of the modern era, the only example in the world, used to film the TV series "Il Commissario Ricciardi 2 and 3", the Fiat 503F fire engine used in the film "Polvere di stelle", a historic film with Alberto Sordi and Monica Vitti, the legendary Fiat Campagnola AR59 used in the desperate rescue efforts following the Vajont tragedy, and many other vehicles.

The collection includes 3 interactive areas for children, where they can test their skills with fire simulators and extinguishing exercises, learning the value of prevention through play.
