True Virtual Reality
The Historic Museum of Firefighters and the Italian Red Cross in Manfredonia is the only one in the world featuring true-virtual reality.
We don't use VR headsets: the experience takes place through advanced reconstructions with high-tech projectors positioned on objects actually present in the museum. Visitors will see the artefacts come to life before their very eyes, immersing themselves in unique historic contexts.
Visit Programme (120-150 min)
Welcome and Dressing Up
Arrival at the Cafeteria (capacity 100 people). Children are dressed as real firefighters with regulation jacket and helmet (optional for teachers).
First Play Area and Photos
A course with increasing difficulty: descent ramp, climbing wall and small theatre. Group photos on the Aerial Ladder and the original Jeep Willis.
Songs and History
In the Cafeteria, everyone sings the legendary firefighter songs together before beginning the journey through time with an expert guide.
Second Play Area
Access to the giant themed bouncy castle, Fireman Sam station and rediscovery of old-fashioned games (tug of war, sack race).
"Little Firefighter" Certificate
Presentation of the official certificate and a 3D model of the aerial ladder to cut out and build at home.
Firefighter's Cafeteria
Space for breakfast or packed lunch while Canadair aircraft and helicopters "fight fires" above your heads.
Free Parking
Large paved and fenced area for buses of any size.
