THE HISTORICAL MUSEUM OF THE FIREFIGHTERS AND THE ITALIAN RED CROSS OF MANFREDONIA AT THE ASSEMBLY OF THE ALTAPULIA NETWORK

The Assembly of the AltApulia Network, convened on 13 November at the "Natural History Museum" of Foggia, elected the 'Control Room' which will coordinate the future activities of the Network, incorporating operational and project proposals from the museum representatives to be submitted, then , to the approval of the Assembly itself.

The Historical Museum of the Fire Brigade and the Italian Red Cross, the only one of its kind in the world, was present with its President, Dr. Michele Guerra, and the Hon. Antonio Tasso, for institutional relations.

The result of the elections will see the Siponto museum - the only one present in the city of Manfredonia, which boasts other museums - in close collaboration with the Control Room for the implementation of promotional initiatives for the development of the cultural and historical offer of the territory, in line with what emerged from the recent Forum on 'Sustainable Tourism of the Gargano' (held in Manfredonia on 26 October), which sees cultural tourism as 'central' in the sustainable offer of the places in the Capitanata area.

The next step of the Assembly will be the election of the members of the 'Steering Committee' (as required by art. 4 of the Museum Enhancement Agreement) and then the ideas that are already on the table will be fully implemented.
