Rosario Valastro in Puglia: three days of meetings with Italian Red Cross volunteers

From Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November, the national President of the Italian Red Cross, Rosario Valastro, will be in Puglia to meet the volunteers working in the region to support the population.

These are the events that will see the President of the Italian Red Cross and the President of the Italian Red Cross' Puglia Regional Committee, Raffaele Pio Di Sabato, travel across the region.

On November 7th, at 11:00 a.m., Rosario Valastro will visit Gioia del Colle, where he will be received in the town council chamber by Mayor Giovanni Mastrangelo and the City Council. At 2:30 p.m., he will visit the Bari Committee of the Italian Red Cross, in the presence of Deputy Prefect Michelangelo Montanaro, Councilor for Urban Livability and Civil Protection Carla Palone, and the President of Municipio I Annamaria Ferretti. At 5:30 p.m., Valastro will travel to the Barletta Committee of the Italian Red Cross, where he will meet with Mayor Cosimo Cannito. At 7:30 p.m., the final meeting of the day will be at the Foggia Committee of the Italian Red Cross, with representatives of the City Council in attendance.

The following day, November 8th, at 8:30 a.m., the National President of the Italian Red Cross, Rosario Valastro, and the President of the Puglia Regional Committee of the Italian Red Cross, Raffaele Pio Di Sabato, will be in Manfredonia to visit the Firefighters and Italian Red Cross Museum. Following this, at 9:45 a.m., President Valastro will receive the National Virgo Fidelis Award at the G. Toniolo Technical and Commercial Institute. At 3:30 p.m., Valastro and Di Sabato will travel to Ostuni to visit the headquarters of the local Italian Red Cross Committee, in the presence of Mayor Angelo Pomes. Two hours later, at 5:30 p.m., they will stop at the Martina Franca Committee of the Italian Red Cross; Mayor Gianfranco Palmisano will also be attending the meeting with volunteers. At 7:30 p.m., they will visit the headquarters of the Taranto Committee of the Italian Red Cross, where Valastro will meet with Mayor Pietro Bitetti.

On November 9th, the meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Leverano Committee of the Italian Red Cross, in the presence of Mayor Marcello Rolli and the President of the Leverano Civil Protection Department, Fabio Zuccalà. The day will continue at 10:30 a.m. with a visit to the headquarters of the Italian Red Cross's Lecce Committee, and later, at 12:30 p.m., at the Brindisi Committee of the Red Cross, where the Italian Red Cross's national president will meet with Mayor Giuseppe Marchionna, the final stop of this three-day visit to Puglia.
